PUNCHES

Punches
  • Similar to slaps, but more "hands-on"

  • Can maintain contact to help gauge distance (ie, the "John Wayne" stage punch)

  • Punch can occur on face, stomach, side, or back, and can be open-handed or caught

  • Practical knaps are optional (difficult to hear) - in film they're done digitally

  • Reaction is extremely important (A note to recipients ... fall the correct way. Physics are a thing.)
